Casey is 3
Casey is 3!!!
Casey is a tenacious and self-assured boy. He is pretty much always on the go and satisfying his curious side with exploring whatever his environment happens to be at the moment. And, he’ll let you know how he feels about it too! He has LOTS of words and makes his opinions pretty darn clear. Casey does sit still on occasion, but that involves an iPad or iPhone. Give him one and he’ll operate it with ease, finding his favorite things all on his own. Yo Gabba Gabba, garbage trucks, school buses, etc.
As Casey very much has his own way of doing things, he
chooses to wear pajamas day and night.
Why not be comfortable all the time?
It is quite a logical way of going about the day to Casey. We can usually get a non-pajama shirt on him
for school but there is a small selection that makes the cut. Casey also loves books. He has worn some of them out completely. He knows his ABC’s and can identify all the
letters. His counting isn’t too shabby
either. An occasional “eleven-teen”
slips in but he amazes us none the less.
Casey also enjoys singing and often accompanies Cole in dance routines.
He can put on his own socks, shoes, pants and
sweatshirt. He is in pull ups and is
making progress toward using the potty too.
These next few months will be an opportunity for practicing those
skills. Casey isn’t always wild about
change, but once he takes something on, he usually masters the challenge at
hand with speed and ease. Let’s hope
this task follows suit! Casey continues
to attend school at Sony and is currently in the “Two’s Room” with a transition
to the next class on the very close horizon in a few weeks. He talks about “P-1” and being in that class
so we think he is ready and will enjoy the next step.
Another thing Casey has in common with Cole is his
enthusiasm for trains. Like big brother,
Casey is due to have his 3rd birthday at Travel Town and had lots of fun with
his friends. Casey is a happy boy who is
very comfortable setting the rhythm in whatever he does. We
love him so much and wish him an amazing year!
